چکیده

The direct chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) on graphene or oxide (GO) allows for the scalable production van der Waals heterostructures (vdWHs). Herein, considering that CVD growth TMDCs depends largely surface property substrate, we compared chemically reduced GO (CrGO) and thermally (TrGO) as substrates to induce MoS2 without a seeding promoter. On monolayer (1L) three-layer CrGO TrGO nanosheets, more triangular flakes were found than TrGO. This is because with less defects could promote TrGO, which normally carries defects. Such difference was not obvious when thickness nanosheets exceeded five layer. As demonstration, obtained MoS2@1L-CrGO MoS2@1L-TrGO vdWH showed much higher photosensitivities 1L under both blue red laser irradiation. In particular, density larger photosensitivity MoS2@1L-TrGO. addition, rolling up into MoS2@CrGO MoS2@TrGO nanoscrolls further enhanced their photosensitivities, due presence multiple interfaces in scrolled structure. Our work demonstrates reduction modified promotes form vdWHs related scroll structures, are promising optoelectronics flexible electronics.

MoS2 nanosheets direct supported on reduced graphene oxide: An advanced electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction

Molybdenum disulfide nanosheets/reduced graphene oxide (MoS2 NSs/rGO) nanohybrid as a highly effective catalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) have been successfully synthesized by a facile microwave-assisted method. The results clearly reveal that direct grown of MoS2 NSs on rGO have been achieved. Electrochemical tests show that the as-prepared hybrid material exhibited excellent HER a...

Growth of Ultrathin ZnCo2O4 Nanosheets on Reduced Graphene Oxide with Enhanced Lithium Storage Properties

The growth of ultrathin ZnCo2O4 nanosheets on reduced graphene oxide (denoted as rGO/ZnCo2O4) via a facile low-temperature solution method combined with a subsequent annealing treatment is reported. With the assistance of citrate, interconnected ZnCo2O4 nanosheets can assemble into hierarchically porous overlays on both sides of rGO sheets. Such a hybrid nanostructure would effectively faciliat...

Thermally reduced kaolin-graphene oxide nanocomposites for gas sensing

Highly sensitive graphene-based gas sensors can be made using large-area single layer graphene, but the cost of large-area pure graphene is high, making the simpler reduced graphene oxide (rGO) an attractive alternative. To use rGO for gas sensing, however, require a high active surface area and slightly different approach is needed. Here, we report on a simple method to produce kaolin-graphene...
